CSA - Community Supported Agriculture
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a relationship between our farm and you as our customer. Rather than simply purchasing food, our customers become "members" of Blue Silo Farms who receive a portion of the farms harvest. Members buy shares of the farm's harvest each year before the farmer has produce to sell. The shares are typically paid for in advance when most of the operating costs for a farm are needed (seeds, soil amendments, equipment, etc...) By purchasing CSA shares early on, members enable the farm to have a solid start to the growing season. Once harvesting begins, members receive a weekly share of seasonal vegetables.
What We Offer
Our season runs for 16 weeks starting late May/Early June and ending in September. Share boxes will contain a variety of 5 to 10 vegetables each week during the season. We promise to provide you with farm fresh produce that is harvested at the peak of freshness every week.

We welcome you to come to the farm to pick up your share each week, but we also offer home delivery within a 10 mile radius of the farm. Our goal is to offer some of your favorite vegetables as well as introduce you to some new tasty varieties.

Farm fresh eggs and honey are available for an additional charge on a first come, first serve basis.
